Although the MWC is only a few days away, Chinese manufacturer ZTE decided to unveil its smartphone just before the event. It is a mid-range handset in China, called the ZTE Q7-C. Although the device currently supports only Chinese bands, it will probably soon be available in other markets as well.
Now, you might think the device looks familiar. Well, we don’t blame you because it is a look-alike of the Blade S6 smartphone which was also released by ZTE. But, this one has a screen that is much bigger and some other features in addition to it. So, let us get down to the features of the handset.
The phone features a 5.5 inch 720p LCD display and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which of course, is expandable via a microSD card. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 SoC, a 64-bit octa-core processor. A 13MP CMOS sensor edged by an LED flash graces the back of the device while the front side sports a 5MP CMOS camera.
The Q7-C is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The smartphone supports CDMA2000, GSM, FDD-LTE, and TD-LTE networks. Currently, the device is available only in white-silver color. And as for the other details like launch date and price, guess we will have to wait till the Chinese New Year!
