InFocus M550 is a smartphone with glasses-free 3D display

A lot of cool and new stuff was showcased at CES 2015, one of those is the InFocus M550 smartphone that runs on Android and has a 3D display that doesn’t require you wear any kind of glasses to see things in 3D.

The tech at play here is SuperD’s eye-tracking technology that uses the phones dual front-facing camera to track user’s eye positions and adjust the filter that separates the two halves of a stereoscopic 3D picture accordingly, reports PC Mag.

Other then the cool 3D display, the InFocus M550 specs include a 1.7 GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, Bluetooth 4.1 and a good 3100 mAh battery. As for the camera, the device has 13MP camera on the back and 5MP on front. The 3D display on the device is 5.5 inch LCD screen with a display resolution 1080×1920.

InFocus M550 release date is set to somewhere in March 2015 in China, the device is reported to launch in Taiwan as well.
