T-Mobile releases February security patch for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and Grand Prime

T-Mobile is currently seeding new software updates for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and the Galaxy Grand Prime. The updates originally started to seed last week, but were only announced today.

The Galaxy Grand Prime(G530) still runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and has received the latest Android security update with the version G530TUVS2AQA2. The update is available as an OTA as well as a manual download and weighs about 46MB.

The Galaxy Tab S2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and also received the latest security update. The software version of the new update is T818TUVS1AQA2 and it weighs 45MB in size. Once again, the update is available as both an OTA or a manual download via the Samsung Smart Switch software.

As always, before you download and install the update, make sure your device has more than 50 percent battery left and is connected to a stable WiFi network. This update is for the Galaxy Tab S2 and the Grand Prime locked to T-Mobile network only.
