T-Mobile LG G5 and LG V20 gets December security patch update, builds H83020c and H91810j

The T-Mobile LG G5 and the LG V20 are getting new software updates that include the latest security patches and bug fixes. The updates are available via OTA and are being seeded right now.

Both these security updates are based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The LG G5 software version is H83020c and it installs the December Google security patch. This is a recommended update, as it can keep your device protected against new malware and viruses.

The LG V20 software version is H91810j and it also installs the December security patches. The update also fixes a bug with Android Pay on the V20. The Verizon and AT&T LG V20 variants have already received the update with the latest security patch.

Before you install the updates, make sure that there is more than 50 percent charge on the device and that it is connected to a good WiFi or cellular network. Earlier this month, T-Mobile had released the Android Nougat update for the HTC 10, so if you’re sporting one of those, do update.
