Sony has announced a new variant of its flagship smartphone Xperia Z4. This new model is the Verizon specific device dubbed Xperia Z4v and it packs some upgraded aspects over the Xperia Z3+.

The other difference is the inclusion of a slightly more capacious battery of 3,000 mAh battery instead of the 2,930 mAh battery.

The Xperia Z4v has a few other differences in terms of the front facer and sensor positions. Even the Sony logo has been repositioned to make space for the Verizon logo. It is 18 grams heavier and 1.7 mm thicker than its siblings.
