Sony Xperia XA1 benchmarks now available

Sony’s latest mid-range smartphone with the model number G3116, or the Xperia XA1 as we know it, paid a visit to the Geekbench benchmarking site revealing its single-core and multi-core scores.

As you can see from the above image, the Xperia XA1 clocked in 858 points for the single-core test whereas it scored 3577 points in the multi-core test. For the unaware, the Geekbench test estimates how quickly a chipset performs certain tasks or collocations. The higher the score, the better the chipset’s performance is.

To give you a fair idea, the Samsung Galaxy S7 still tops the Geekbench listing with 1789 points (single-core). In comparison, the Sony Xperia XA1 scored nearly half of what the Galaxy S7 scored which is pretty decent for a mid-range smartphone, but it definitely could have been better if it had scored more. Let’s not forget, these number may or may not translate to the real world performance accurately.
