Sony Xperia Odin concept image looks too real to be a concept

That Sony is working on a couple of super-specced phones, known by their internal code names Odin and Yuga is not breaking news. Some leaked specs for these rumoured devices have also emerged over the past few days, but what we haven’t really seen so far is what these devices look like.

A concept image of what is supposedly the upcoming Sony C650X smartphone have surfaced at Concept-Phones, who in turn seem to have received the pics from a source who has been known to create some excellent renders as well. So the mystery deepens.

After the uncovering of the Nexus X hoax, where the creator of the hoax image, had actually provided a detailed infographic on how he had created the image, it is not so difficult to believe that images can be manipulated and re-rendered very smartly.

Moreover, the image seems to have been clicked ‘in the wild’ as you can see above. We have our doubts whether Sony allows even insiders to wander off into the wild, so to speak, with a prototype tucked into their pockets. Having said that, we must say that the image does look a bit too real to be a concept, and only time would tell what Odin is really going to look like. As a reminder, Odin is said to be equipped with a 5-inch display with a Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels display with Sony Mobile Bravia Engine, 1.5 GHz quad–core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and an Adreno 320 graphics chip

Well, with the amount of leaks we have been seeing these days, it’s just a question of waiting till something more visual about Odin pops up, and we’re sure this won’t be the last we’re seeing of this beast of a device that Sony is supposedly putting together for next year.
