Earlier this month, there were reports that the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua smartphone that was launched in March this year at the MWC 2015 show will be going on sale in Canada. Going by the same, Videotron that is based on Quebec has released the device and it is the first carrier to sell the smartphone.
The carrier is selling the Xperia M4 Aqua for a low price of $29.95 on a contract. Without any contract, the price of the Sony smartphone is $229.95. It has to be noted that the smartphone will be sold by the other carriers in Canada including Virgin Mobile, Bell, Wind Mobile and Fido in the coming days.
To refresh on the specs of the Xperia M4 Aqua, the smartphone boasts of a 5 inch display with HD 720p resolution and it is equipped with a 64 bit octa core processor that is paired with 2 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of storage space in the smartphone to address the storage requirements.
The imaging aspects of the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua include a 13 MP main snapper with the ability to record Full HD 1080p videos and a front facing 5 MP selfie shooter. The device is energized by a 2,400 mAh battery along with Battery Stamina mode.
