In May, Sony Xperia M4 Aqua that was launched earlier this year went on sale in the U.K after it was released in India alongside the Xperia C4. It seems like the mid-range smartphone will be entering the Canadian market by the end of this month.
The Xperia M4 Aqua with impressive hardware and dust and water resistant build will be made available via carriers based in Canada including Bell, Videotron, Fido, WIND Mobile and Virgin Mobile.
The Sony smartphone is powered by a 64 bit octa core processor teamed up with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable internal storage space. The device boasts of a 5 inch display that carries a HD 720p display. The device carries the IP68 certification that makes it dust and water resistant.
There is a 13 MP main camera with Full HD 1080p video recording onboard the Xperia M4 Aqua and a front facing 5 MP HD 720p selfie snapper as well. A 2,400 mAh battery powers the smartphone from within rendering up to 2 days of backup with the Battery Stamina mode enabled.
As of now, there is no specific word on how much the smartphone will be priced in Canada. However, the device is said to be priced at CAD 409 (approx. $325) based on its European price tag.
