Introduced at IFA 2012 along with Sony Xperia T and Sony Xperia V, the Sony Xperia J budget smartphone has finally found it’s way to India and is available for as low as INR 16490! We gave you a sneak peek of this phone in early July and even whispered about it offering cool features like the SMS counter.
Being one of the budget models launched by Sony the specifications of the Xperia are very basic:
- The device has Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich straight out of the box processor
- 1GHz CPU with Cortex A5 processor
- 512MB RAM
- 4GB internal storage which can be extended up to 32 GB with an external microSD card
- 4 inch TFT Capacitive Touch screen
- 5MP AF rear camera and 0.3MP secondary camera
- 1750 mAh Li-ion battery (5.5 hours talk time, 607 hours standby time)
- Wi-Fi enabled
Now all we need to do is wait and see if it storms the markets like it is expected to.
