Snapdragon 835 benchmarks available via AnTuTu

Benchmarks for the upcoming Snapdragon 835 processor have shown up on AnTuTu and boy it’s impressive. The SoC has scored a total score of 181434, which is much higher than the Snapdragon 821’s score of 163546.

And that’s just overall score, but the SD835 chipset seems to perform much better than other competitors as well. It is better than the Apple A9 processor (132657), the Kirin 950 (92746), Samsung’s Exynos 8890 (129865) and all the current gen processors. See image at the bottom for list of popular processors and their AnTuTu scores.

The AnTuTu benchmark tests various aspects such as CPU, UX, GPU, RAM and Storage performance of the device. Looking at the CPU and GPU scores here for the SD835, we can tell that it is a better performer than the Snapdragon 821 processor by a large margin. The screenshot above belongs to LeEco’s Le Pro 3, which is powered by SD821 chipset.

Compared to the SD821’s 23094, the new Snapdragon 835 scores 24383 points on the UX performance. On the CPU front, the SD835 scores 15705 compared to 13109 of the SD821. Finally, in the GPU performance, the SD835 gets the highest score of 45330 compared to 37824 of the SD821.

Qualcomm will release the Snapdragon 835 in 2017 and several upcoming phones are said to be using this SoC, including Xiaomi Mi6 and Oppo Find 9. The chipset also features Quick Charge 4.0, which will make it 20 percent faster and much more efficient than predecessors.
