Samsung to release 256GB variant of Galaxy Note 8 in South Korea

A recent leak has emerged which suggests that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy Note 8 256GB variant in South Korea. This confirms a past rumor revealing that Samsung will launch a special edition of Galaxy Note 8 dubbed as Galaxy Note 8 Emperor Edition in Asian markets.

Renowned tipster Roland Quandt has tweeted that Samsung Galaxy Note8 will be available with 256GB storage in Korea based on  a listing for the Note 8’s Korean models with  most of them have packing in 256GB storage.

The past leak, which also suggests release of an Emperor Edition of Galaxy Note 8 with 256GB storage, says that the special Note 8 edition will first be released in China followed by its launch in South Korea.

Although the Galaxy Note 8 Emperor Edition may not be released in markets outside Asia, there are reports suggesting that North America, Europe, and South America may also get two versions of Galaxy Note 8. One will be the standard model with 6GB+64GB storage and the other will be the premium model with 6GB+128GB storage.

Slated to be launched later this month, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch Infinity Display, Snapdragon 835 SoC, dual rear cameras of 12MP resolution and a 3,300mAh battery.
