Sasmung is rumored to launch low cost smartphones with quad core processor and 5-inch screen. The new range of phone will be initially launched in South Korea on all the major three carrier in the country in November this year.
The price of the above rumored smartphone would be around 500,000 WON ($448) which is almost half the price of the all new 5.5-incher Galaxy Note 2. But it’s not known yet if the phone would be running on Android or some other OS (Tizen, maybe).
Samsung launched its first 5-inch+ smartphone, the Galaxy Note, globally last year and it proved a great success for the company. Following which competitors also started to launch 5-inch+ smartphones, and now looking from where we are standing today — it has clearly become a hot market.
