Samsung Tablet S launched in India

It turns out to be a Samsung Release Day as Samsung earlier today launched Galaxy S5 Mini and K Zoom Camera and now Samsung India has officially launched the Tablet S with price starting from ₹ 37,800.

Samsung Tablet S comes in two sizes, one features 8.4-inch 2560×1600 pixels Super AMOLED Display while another one features a 10.5-inch 2560×1600 pixels Super AMOLED Display and rest of the specification remains common to both.

Samsung Tablet S are powered by Exynos 5 Octa-Core CPU 4 cores clocked at 1.9GHz and 4 cores clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 3GB RAM. Both the tablets features slim profiile of just 6.6mm and weight of 8.4″ variant is 298gm and 10.5″ variant is 467gm.

Optics are also top of the line with inclusion of 8-megapixel camera with LED Flash and 2.1-megapixel front camera. Both cameras are capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps. Battery inside 8.4″ model is 4900 mAh whereas 10.5″ model has a 7900mAh battery.

Tablet S comes in 3G and 4G variants too capable of voice calling also. There’s a fingerprint sensor for securely restricting access to tablet. Tablet S runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with Touchwiz UI and tons of Samsung Apps like S Planner, S Memo and many more.

Tablet S has WiFi, 2G/3G/4G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, MIMO and WiFi Direct. Samsung Tablet S will be priced ₹ 37,800 for 8.4″  variant and 10.5″ variant will cost ₹ 44,800. It comes in two color options, Titanium Bronze and Dazzling White.
