Samsung GT-N5100 spotted again, could be Galaxy Note 7.0

GT-N5100 Samsple Picture EXIF Data

The unknown Samsung Galaxy Note device, GT-N5100, has made a comeback on the internet with a few sample pictures leaked on Picasa. The pictures are blank and black so nothing much we can check except the EXIF data.

For a recap, the GT-N5100 was earlier spotted getting a WiFi certification and was clearly mentioned as a tablet device. And as pointed out earlier also, it could be a 7-inch or 8-inch Galaxy Note tablet by Samsung to compete with the upcoming Apple iPad mini and the Kindle Fire HD.

The EXIF data pulled from the leaked sample pictures of GT-N5100 suggests of a camera with 2048×1536 resolution, a 3MP camera, which makes sense if Samsung is trying to minimize the cost of production. And they will indeed have to cut down the costs if they are compete in the 7-inch tablet market since prices are already low in this category.

Now the pictures that have leaked on picasa are all blank or say black so we can’t really see how good is the quality of the camera. It could be possible that the GT-N5100 will have only a front-facing camera like the many other 7-inch tablets on the market.

It would be awesome to have Samsung’s innovative ‘noting’ experience on a 7-inch screen. What say?
