Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus gets ClockWorkMod Recovery [CWM] via ADB Method

Good news for Samsung Galaxy Tab Plus users! The world-famous custom recovery, ClockWorkMod(CWM) is now available for your precious new 7-inch android tablet. Credits go to garyd9, who managed to port a working custom recovery on Galaxy Tab Plus.

But for users, it’s not an easy flash thing right now — to install CWM, you need ADB knowledge. It’s right to say it’s only for advanced users who are sound working with ADB, running commands and with flashing of .img files using ADB. If you’re knowledgeable with all that and would like to give it a try — knowing that error can brick your tablet — go ahead here and have it right now. Good luck!

Btw, this is applicable only for Galaxy Tab Plus (WiFi only version), the codename of which is GT-P6210. Check your tablet’s version in Settings before trying this.

And if you’re not comfy with the ADB stuff and entering commands and all that, just wait up — I think we aren’t far from having an easy method, like flashing a single file using Odin like we love to do on Galaxy S1 and S2, which repackages the whole trick and elements.

We’ll update this post when we spot an easy way to install CWM recovery on Galaxy Tab Plus, so check back later if that ADB stuff is holding you back, which I think will be the case with most of us.
