Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 ban lifted by Judge, after all

After the Federal US Circuit Court of Appeals handed the case back to Judge Koh who originally banned the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in US, the same Judge has now lifted the ban as Samsung was able to impress on her that the Galaxy Tab indeed doesn’t infringe on iPad’s design patent. At least, that is – because it may still be infringing other patents Apple has secured for the iPad, and in that case the same Judge might ban the Galaxy Tab 10.1 again ironically, when the hearing for that starts in December, later this year.

Yeah, you could say, who cares, we don’t even care about the Galaxy Tab 10.1 anymore, and for what it’s worth, Samsung would have already unveiled a new one, maybe Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, with a quad-core chip and cool 2 GB RAM that can be easily expected, and some other guts, so it’s not worth to Apple at all. Well, you are right. But let’s hope Samsung does enough with its hardware and software that Apple lawyers at least stop drooling over the idea of suing another Galaxy device, again.
