Samsung files for Galaxy S8 trademark in the US

Samsung has filed for the Galaxy S8 trademark in the United States, according to a new report. The Galaxy S8 announcement date is getting closer day-by-day and we hear new reports almost every other day.

The South Korean giant files for such a trademark every year, when it is time for them to release a new flagship smartphone. This year, it will be the Galaxy S8 and hopefully a Galaxy S8 Plus or Edge. The company hasn’t filed for another trademark for the larger variant.

The report also states that Samsung will soon file for the trademark of Galaxy S8 brand name in Korea and other countries. As per the latest rumor, the latest flagship from Samsung would be available on March 29. The smartphone would be announced and showcased at MWC next month.

So far, the various leaks, reports and rumors have told us that the Galaxy S8 would come with the Snapdragon 835 processor or the Exynos 8895, 6GB of RAM, improved cameras, no home button, thinner bezels, improved display, and more.
