Samsung Galaxy S8 set to launch on April 18

Rumors circulating about the Galaxy S8 reveal that Samsung could be planning to release the device on April 18, which is line with the release date we’ve heard in recent past, while earlier it was speculated that as usual February announcement with March release would be likely.

The Galaxy S8 is now rumored to feature an impressive specsheet, with almost bezel-less device with a 90% screen-to-body ratio, which is similar to Xiaomi Mi Mix, that turned heads when it was launched. The flagship smartphone will also be running on Samsung upcoming 10nm Exynos chipset for European markets while Snapdragon 835 processor for USA. It’s being reported initially, Samsung is planning to manufacture 10 million units of the Galaxy S8.

Iris recognition from the Note 7 will be heading over to the Galaxy S8 and the device will also be the first to introduce Samsung’s own Bixby AI which will compete with Microsoft’s Cortana, Apple’s Siri and the Google Assistant. As with all flagship Galaxy S series smartphones, the device will feature a camera which brings another leap in camera tech.

Another cool feature expected in the S8 will be Samsung Desktop Experience (SDE). Taking note of the Samsung skin being named Samsung Experience for the smartphones we can come to the conclusion that SDE will behave similar to the Windows Continuum feature.

Galaxy S8 specs could include 6GB RAM, 128 and 256GB storage, 12MP and 13MP dual camera (for Galaxy S8 Plus), on-screen fingerprint scanner, on-screen keys (physical home button, goodbye!), and 5.7″ display on regular S8, while 6.2″ display on bigger one, the Galaxy S8 Plus.

Loving it?
