Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ now available from Optus in Australia

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are now available for purchase from Optus in Australia. The device has already launched in several other regions, and now Optus customers can get one too.

The smartphone is available in 64GB storage capacity and in three different colors. You will need to obviously sign a contract with Optus Australia to purchase the phone. You can check out all the details at the source link below.

Samsung’s latest flagship is a massive hit and has garnered millions in sales already. The new Infinite Display, Snapdragon 835 SoC, and other improvements have surely impressed a lot of customers. The Optus Australia variants of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will ship with the Exynos 9 series chipsets, and not the Snapdragon 835.

Although there have been a few issues with certain units of the Galaxy S8, such as the Red Tint display problem, customers are still coming. The company has also released a software update to get rid of the red tint issue, which according to them, doesn’t have anything to do with the hardware.

  1. Yet another country opened to sales. Great. With four days to go in India, cant help but feel pretty hyped. I hope the shipping wont take too long and be a major buzzkill for the expectant customers. I understand some amount of delay is expected and inevitable but surely, it must be manageable and not take weeks or months of waiting periods. Samsung has got the overwhelming responses and innumerable pre orders like they were hoping to. Now its their turn to keep up their end of the bargain.
