The specifications for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 are being confirmed one after the other. First it was confirmed that the Galaxy S6 will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7420 processor. Next the device was confirmed to feature a 5.1 inch screen with Quad HD display. Now, it’s our turn to look for the confirmation of the battery pack rumor.
The Galaxy S6 was rumored to be powered by a 2600 mAh sealed battery and now a picture uploaded by a user of China’s Weibo social network confirms this rumor. As you can see from the images below, the battery packs are labeled as 2600 mAh capacity and their model number marked as EB-BG925ABE.
Since the replacement batteries for the Galaxy S5 are sold on Amazon with code like EBBG900BBC, the code name EB-BG925ABE in the pictures below is speculated to be related to Galaxy S6. Also, manufacturing date of 2/11 adds further support to these images. But still we are not sure if the batteries in the pictures are replacement batteries of Galaxy S6 only.
