Samsung Galaxy Note 2 dock gets it a PC feel, a great utility for professional work

If you’re thinking of getting a new gizmo to go with that shiny new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 you’ve picked up from T-Mobile or Sprint lately, you may want to the have a look at a brand new peripheral that Samsung has released specially for the 5.5″ phablet – the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Smart Dock.

The Smart Dock turns your Galaxy Note 2 into a mini-desktop and an entertainment hub. Combining the Galaxy Note 2 with the Smart Dock gives to access to a variety of connectivity options that include USB, HDMI as well as a Speaker Out. The three USB ports let you Galaxy Note 2 interact with a mouse, and external keyboard and even an external storage drive. And the HDMI port lets you hook up your phablet to a larger monitor, should you feel the need to have a larger screen. Stereo audio out, adds to the experience, when you are watching videos shot with the Galaxy Note 2 on that 52″ HDTV.

The Smart Dock is available for $100, and is expected to be available in white and black. While an exact release date has not been announced by  Samsung, it is up for pre-order on Samsung’s website.
