Samsung announced today, at the MWC in Barcelona, that the Galaxy Note 10.1, would be it’s second flagship device in it’s S-pen supported device lineup. Unlike it’s older sibling, the 5.3″ Note, which was marketed as neither a phone, nor a tablet, the newest addition to the family, has been announced with a very clear identity as a tablet.

Based on Samsung’s demo at MWC, and reports from people who were present, the Galaxy Note 10.1 does make a compelling statement as a tablet, with some really cool features, especially those that revolve around the the much improved S-pen support and pre-installed apps that bring out your creative side. Given Samsung’s penchant for cutting Edge devices in the high-end Galaxy series, it looks like it has another sales scorcher in the pipeline. Have a look at the goodies this baby comes with:

  • Android 4.0 ( Ice Cream Sandwich) with TouchWiz / L!ve Panel UX UI
  • 8.9 mm thickness /583 gms
  • Weight: 583 gms
  • WXGA 1280 x 800 HD resolution
