Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE for Verizon Wireless spotted, dubbed SCH-i925

When the Galaxy Note 10.1 was announced, Samsung said that an LTE-enabled variant of the tablet would make its way to the market at the end of 2012, and we also saw the release date of the Germany-bound Galaxy Note 10.1 leak, but there have been no official announcements of the LTE variant regarding release dates. However, at least US carrier Verizon might be getting it pretty soon, as a Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE with model number SCH-i925 has just passed Bluetooth certification.

Verizon devices always carry SCH as part of their model number, so it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that it is indeed Verizon’s version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE. With Samsung’s quad-core Exynos chips now ready to be used along with LTE, as evident from the Galaxy Note 2, it shouldn’t be too long before we see the LTE version of the 10.1″ S Pen-toting Note get released, probably near the holiday season.

Except for the added LTE connectivity, we should see the same specs as on the already available Note 10.1, including a 1.4GHz Exynos quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 10.1″ 1280 x 800 PLS LCD display, 5 megapixel camera, 1.9 megapixel front camera, 16/32GB storage, microSD card slot, 7000 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, though since the quad-core Galaxy S3 LTE launched with Android 4.1, we can expect the same to happen with the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE as well.
