The Galaxy J1 is based on Android 4.4 KitKat and packs a 4.3- inch WVGA LD display. The device is powered by a dual-core or a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor paired with 512MB RAM. Other goodies include 4GB internal storage, microSD card support, dual-SIM capability, 5MP rear camera, VGA secondary camera and an 1850 mAh battery.

Samsung has also announced a 4G LTE-enabled variant of J1 with better specs but it isn’t available yet.
