Samsung Galaxy Core Prime and Galaxy J1 Mini get March security update

Samsung is rolling out a new firmware update to Galaxy Core Prime and Galaxy J1 Mini. The update installs the March security patch on both the devices.

Arriving as build number J105YDVU0AQC1, the new firmware update brings the latest Android monthly security patch to Galaxy J1 Mini, along with regular bug fixes and system enhancements.

On the other hand, Galaxy Core Prime is getting the firmware update as build number G361HXXU0AQC1 which installs the March security patch and optimizes device performance. Although, the monthly update is a regular one, it is highly recommended.

The update is being rolled out as an OTA. Therefore, it might take sometime to hit your Galaxy device. If waiting is not your thing, you can even check for it manually by heading to Settings > About device > System updates. And in case, you have received the update, hit the download button. But before doing that ensure that your phone is at least 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network.
