Bixby has been the rumored name for Samsung’s AI voice assistant for its upcoming premium flagship Galaxy S8. Now, it has got a logo as well. Spotted first by galaxyclub.nl, the trademark application filed by Samsung for Bixby’s logo has surfaced.
The application with the European Trade Mark and Design Network shows the Bixby logo which looks like something between the alphabet ‘B’ and numerical ’8′. Oh, B for Bixby and 8 for Galaxy S8. Must say, pretty creative!
On close scrutiny, it turns out that trademark application description, with application number 016343931, closely matches to that of Bixby’s trademark application.
The AI Voice Assistant Bixby, when launched with Galaxy S8, could be a game changer for the company, reeling under the Note 7 fiasco. Other than supporting 7-8 languages, Bixby will be enabled to recognize both images and voice.
