Hi! Does it works on SGS2 GT-I9100T with Android 4.0.4?

How long does the whole procedure take? coz mine seems to be taking longer thgan anticipoated

I got stuck at the yellow triangle too. Wouldn’t boot past that.
    Tried XXLPH, but no joy.
Even tried stock rom, but still failed… (Triangle went away though)
Using codeworkx’s Kernel, from the cyanogenmod update guide, installed using ODIN, (same method as above) finally cleared it. Phew! Scary biscuits…

you may proceed the above guide lines for rooting the Samsung Galaxy S2 4.0.3 ICS without setting up your device to USB debugging?

    • Kapil

Yes, but the above root is for XXLPB firmware only… so make sure your phone’s build no. is that.

      • Federico

I can’t see the apps on my SD card. It used to work fine before the root.

I always having “Software Update’ on task bar, How do I remove it?

    • Kapil

      Install XXLPH —

It’s better than the xxlpb and would do away with software update, too. On Mar 10, 2012 9:20 AM, “Disqus”

When I connect my phone to Kies, The firmware info says “Your device does not support software upgrading via Kies” how do I make it like the official ROMs ?

  • Pacowong

I am stuck in the yellow triangle and cant turn on the phone…

    • Kapil

Try again…. and make sure out follow the steps correctly… also, this is for xxlpb only, not any other firmware…

If this doesn’t work, search and install xxlph ICS firmware… to get everything working.

  • Getabu

How do i get rid of the yellow triangle?

    • Kapil

Erm…. you can’t, it is risky thing to do. But don’t bother, when you flash a firmware again and not root it, it won’t appear.

  • Sascha

Is there any One-Click-Root method known for ICS yet?

    • Kapil

Nope. But btw, thanks to Chainfire, we have this ultra cool method, which also involves just one click to start rooting and all that, including cwm. It’s very very easy, to be honest.
