How to Root Sprint M9 on Marshmallow 6.0.1

HTC’s Mo Versi has just tweeted that the company has received approval from Sprint for the HTC One M9 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update. The OTA will start rolling out today.

While this is great news, some of us might be concerned about root access on the Sprint M9 Marshmallow update. Well, fret not. Systemless root by Chainfire has been working good for HTC’s Marshmallow releases so far on other devices, so rooting Sprint M9 on Marshmallow won’t be anything different.

You can just grab the latest SuperSU beta from the download link below and flash the zip via TWRP recovery on your Sprint M9. The script will automatically patch your boot to allow root access without affecting the system partition on the device. Props to Chainfire for such a neat root.
