LG introduced a number of ways to customize your smartphone experience with its G3, G4 and now V10. The Korean manufacturer went ahead of the design trends and placed the Volume rocker and Power button on back of these devices (below the camera) for more convenience and slimmer bezels.
LG also introduced customization to the Volume rocker such as launching the QuickMemo app with a simple long press of Volume Up button while the phone is locked. This enables you to quickly take notes without even unlocking the phone.
But of course, not all of us want to be able to take notes quickly on our phones. There many other things you may want to put instead of the QuickMemo app on the long press of Volume Up button. Thankfully, developer AppTuners has published an app by the name Key Plus that can customize the default behaviour of Volume buttons on your LG device.
Key Plus can change the behaviour of both Volume Up and Volume down buttons, but LG seems to have hard coded the Volume down button to launch Camera on the LG V10 so you cannot change that. But QuickMemo from the Volume Up button can be changed to anything like Flashlight, Music, Functionality toggles, etc.
Install the Key Plus app for LG G4, G3 and V10 from the Play Store link below on, and simply set Volume Up button to launch any activity or toggle on your LG V10.
