Pics from Sony Xperia E emerges on Picasa

Remember the Xperia E dual-sim budget phone from Sony we told you about a few days ago? Japanese Blog of Mobile reports that a pic that has apparently been captured by a Sony handset codenamed Nanhu was uploaded to Picasa earlier today. Nanhu is said to be the production codename for a handset model-numbered C-16xx, better known these days as the Sony Xperia E/Xperia E Dual.

There are two versions of the Xperia E which will reportedly be available, a dual-si version, and a standard single sim one. Based on the EXIF data culled from Picasa, the Xperia E is said to have  a camera resolution of 3.1 Megapixels. Unsurprising, when we look at the other known specs from the last time around, which included a 320 x 480 display. It is not yet determined whether the image uploaded to Picasa has been captured with the single SIM or the dual SIM version  of the Xperia E.

Word is, that the Xperia E Dual will have a 1GHz Snapdragon S1 SOC, possibly a 320 x 480 resolution display and will supposedly run Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Now we know that it also sports a 3 MP main camera. The Xperia E will rumoredly be launched in Q1-2013 as a low-end Xperia smartphone.
