Panasonic, the Japanese tech giant, has launched a couple of new smartphones — the Eluga A3 and Eluga A3 Pro for the Indian market at an event in Delhi yesterday. While the standard variant is priced at Rs. 11,290, the Pro variant will set you back by Rs. 12, 790. Both the variants will be available for grabs at the company’s own and other offline retails stores across the country starting 10th August.

The Eluga A3 and A3 Pro both don a metal body and come with a thickness of 9.1mm. You’ll find the fingerprint scanner located on the front of the device as can be seen from the above image. These phones also feature Arbo — the company’s in-house virtual assistant which is intended to make things easier for you.

As for the specs, both the devices come with a similar set of internals for the most part. The A3 and A3 Pro both sport a 5.2-inch HD display at the front. While the former is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC, the latter has a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC under the hood.

At the launch event, Panasonic has also revealed that it will be launching a slew of new phones ranging from mid-range to high-end in the coming months in India.
