Oppo R9s Black Edition goes on pre-order in Malaysia for RM 1,828, comes with a free Olike Now 2 Smartband

Oppo fans in Malaysia will be delighted to know that the Chinese smartphone maker has put up a Black Edition of its selfie-phone R9s for pre-order in the country. Priced at RM 1828, the Oppo R9s Black Edition comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Listed on Oppo’s online store, the company has made the offer more lucrative by adding a free gift which includes a Olike Now 2 Smartband painted in black color, to compliment the special Black Edition of the R9s phone. The pre-orders start from today. However, to be able to avail the free Smartband, make sure you pre-order the phone on or before May 9th.

Launched in October last year alongside Oppo R9s Plus, the Oppo R9s hit the Malaysian shelves on January 5th carrying a price tag of RM 1,798.00. The phone features a 5.5-inch AMOLED Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 5 and is powered by 2.0GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor.

On the camera front, it houses a 16MP/16MP camera combo with LED flash. There’s a 3010 mAh battery with VOOC fast charging which claims to give you two hours talk time with five minute of charge. The OS on board is Android 6.0.6 Marshmallow.

  1. this one looks good in Black and was one of the first phones from Oppo to support VOOC charging feature, but despite being a six month old it still costs the same as the Oppo F3 plus which is far superior to this phone with better specs and cameras, not a good deal I guess!!
