As per a recent report from China, the highly anticipated OnePlus Two smartphone will be unveiled in the next month at a press conference. The device is said to continue on the same lines as the OnePlus One by combining high-end specifications at a reasonable price tag.

As per the industry sources, the OnePlus Two is likely to be announced at a special press conference to be hosted in July. The firm’s CEO, Carl Pei revealed that the device will be going official in the second or third quarter of this year, and hence July seems to be a perfect fit.

The OnePlus Two is alleged to feature the much needed refreshed specifications that one can expect from a flagship smartphone. It is said to feature a Full HD 1080p display of unknown screen size. As the OnePlus One has a 5.5 inch display, its successor is expected to boast of an even larger screen.

Otherwise, the OnePlus Two seems to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset that is backed by 3 GB of RAM. There could be a 13 MP main shooter at the back of the smartphone.

The specifications that are expected to be packed in the OnePlus Two make the device compete with the Xperia Z3+ and others. However, it will receive success when it comes to the pricing. The OnePlus Two is likely to be priced at 1,999 Yuan (approx. $322). But, this is skeptic as Pei revealed that the device based on the Snapdragon 810 SoC should be priced around 2499 Yuan (approx. $403).

If the OnePlus Two goes official in July as these reports hint, it would be wonderful. However, the firm has already confirmed that initially the device will be requiring invites to be purchased that is a major downside. The firm has assured that it has learned its mistakes and that it will let you more units for sale this time.
