The Chinese firm OnePlus has teased an announcement to happen today and there are speculations that we can witness the launch of the OnePlus One successor called OnePlus Two at the event.
The OnePlus Two is likely claimed to arrive with a 5.5 inch display with Full HD or Quad HD resolution and incorporate a 64 bit octa core Snapdragon 810 processor from Qualcomm. The device is also said to feature a micro SD expansion card slot and a fingerprint scanner onboard. There are claims that the OnePlus Two will be carrying a higher price tag than the previous generation smartphone.
Apart from the OnePlus Two, the firm is also expected to launch another smartphone. This device started surfacing in rumors earlier this year and it is likely to be named OnePlus One Lite. This device will be an affordable variant of the upcoming flagship smartphone despite packing updated specifications than the OnePlus One.
The report goes on stating that the OnePlus Two will need an invite to buy it just like its predecessor initially. However, the firm is claimed to be prepping an alternative to this invite system that was meant to retain a balance between the demand and supply. Anyways, we will get to know what OnePlus has in store by the end of the day.
