OnePlus 3/3T update with OxygenOS 4.1.7 rolling out, brings August security patch and performance improvements

OnePlus 3T

OnePlus is pushing out a new software update to OnePlus 3 and 3T handsets over-the-air (OTA).

The Chinese smartphone maker, as usual, is seeding the update incrementally which means, only a small number of users will receive the update right away with the reach increasing to a broader range of users with time.

The new software update is arriving as OxygenOS 4.1.7 and brings with it the August security patch alongside several bug fixes and improvements. Below is the official changelog for the same:

Before downloading the update, make sure you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network to save yourself from unnecessary data charges. Also, charge your device before installing the update on your OnePlus 3 or 3T handsets.
