Ever since OnePlus confirmed that it’s discontinuing two of its most successful handsets, the OnePlus 3 and 3T, every OnePlus user has been raising one question: Will the OnePlus 3 and 3T get the Android 8.0 (O) update? Well, here’s the answer to the question: YES!
Pete Lau, founder and chief executive of OnePlus has confirmed via a tweet that the both the OnePlus 3 and 3T will indeed get the update. He, however, didn’t disclose any details regarding the timeframe.
OnePlus was relatively quick to roll out the Nougat update to its 2016’s flagships. So, we expect the same to continue this year as well. Now, some of the OnePlus users, particularly the OnePlus 2 users must be wondering if the Android 8.0 (O) will ever hit their devices?

Sadly, we have no idea as of now. Also, considering the fact that the company still hasn’t rolled out the Nougat update to its OnePlus 2 handsets, we highly doubt if the OnePlus 2 will ever get an Android O update.
