OnePlus 3 and 3T receive another OTA update today to fix issues with expanded screenshots and data usage

OnePlus is rolling out a new software update to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T units. The update arrives as Open Beta 22 and 12 for the OnePlus 3 and 3T respectively.

This latest Open beta update is being seeded over the air and brings a bunch of improvements and bug fixes. The official changelog for the same is as follows:

Improvements:

  • Optimized data usage tracking process
  • Optimized expanded screenshot
  • Updates OnePlus apps — App locker, FileManager, Weather, Note (shelf), Launcher, and OnePlus Push

Bug Fixes:

  • Resolved installation issues of some parallel apps
  • Failure of expanded screenshot on parallel apps solved
  • Weather widget update issue fixed
  • Fixed font issue which did not display properly after changing system language

Those with an Open Beta will receive the update as an OTA. Once there, be sure to connect to a WiFi network before installing the update to avoid extra data charges. Also, make sure that your OnePlus device is at least 50 percent charged.
