    Is root necessary?

    1. Kapil says: Reply

No, you don’t need root for this.

      1. we required root for this….dnt lie my son

You can install a cwm recovery without first rooting your phone via fastboot. And then go to recovery and flash this and that would be it. 2 yrs ago, it was kinda necessary to have root to be able to clockworkmod recovery. It’s much easy now, bro!

Does ICS run faster than HTC Sense 3.0?

ICS is the OS, HTC Sense is the Overlay, they are 2 completely different things

Power off. Take out the battery for a few seconds. It will work then.

The last leaked ICS rom (3.32.401.3, for Sensation had disabled the “Unknown Sources” for 3rd party applications. Does anyone know if that is also the case with this version?

if I installed the file can I update my sensation xe if there is an official update??e

    1. Kapil says: Reply

Well, I think you will be able to update it officially whenever HTC launched it via OTA in your area. Even otherwise, you can upgrade with this method only, any official update in future.

misleading – required s-off and root. Also super CID was required. I tried without superid and my phone was stuck in reboot loop.
