NTT DoCoMo launches Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S3 α and 8 other Android phones and 1 Android tablet

NTT DoCoMo, the predominant mobile operator in Japan, has been quite busy announcing new devices coming to their lineup this year, and the carrier has released the full list of devices that they will launching this year, which includes no less than eleven Android smartphones and one tablet.

It is an impressive lineup, with five smartphones (and one tablet) powered by a quad-core processor and five phones powered by a dual-core. Two of the devices, the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 α, run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, while all other devices come with Android 4.0, including the Xperia AX, Sharp Aquos Phone Zeta, and more. Every device comes with support for DoCoMo’s 100mbps LTE network and Osaifu-Keitai™ (mobile wallet) NFC services, while the tablet and seven phones also include support for the NOTTV multimedia broadcasting service.

There is no doubt that customers of NTT DoCoMo will be spoiled for choice in this wide range of high-end devices that the company is launching. Most devices are expected to start selling some time between November and December.
