Word is still pending from Micromax officials about the release date of Android Nougat update for its devices. The manufacturer hasn’t shared a roadmap yet for its Nougat upgrade plans. And hence, we couldn’t tell for sure if the Yu Yuphoria will be getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update officially from Yu/Micromax.
If you’re like us, you probably can’t wait for long to get Nougat installed and running on your Android device. Well, luckily for you, developer ace312 has released an unofficial build of CM14 ROM for Yuphoria.
Yu Yuphoria CM14 ROM is currently under development, but thanks to the efforts the developer put-in on this, this CM14 build only has everything working except for Video decoding & encoding and Ringtone issues. If you can ignore the two issues, the ROM is otherwise ready to be your daily driver.
Grab the Yu Yuphoria CM14 ROM from the download link below and simply install/flash it via TWRP recovery like you’d flash any other custom ROM on the device. Also, since this is an AOSP based ROM, you will have to flash/install a Nougat supported Gapps package separately via TWRP to get Google services like Play Store on your device.
