Non-Tegra devices including most Samsung Galaxy, Sony Xperia and LG Optimus get ShadowGun: DeadZone

Back in mid-October, developer Madfinger Games released a public beta of the multiplayer-only successor to the original and critically acclaimed game Shadowgun – Shadowgun: Deadzone, but it was exclusive to only devices powered by a Tegra 3 chipset. Now it is time for other devices to join in, as Madfinger Games has updated the beta to include support for any device running Android 3.0 and later.

There are a few other changes in the update as well, here is the full list:

  • Now available for Android devices with SDK 3.0 and higher!
  • Unlocked Research section – you can use the research to make weapons, items and perks
  • You can make money by playing the game
  • You can now collect experience points (XP) and level up
  • Protection for the beginners (players with RANKS 1-3). They are connecting to the isolated servers.

Having played Shadowgun: Deadzone, I can safely say that it is one of the most good-looking and enjoyable shooter games available for Android. Oh, and it also runs quite smoothly. So go ahead, hit the link below to download Shadowgun: Deadzone from the Play Store.
