Nexus 4 Camera samples, lots of!

The Nexus 4 is still a few days away, and a lot of people, me included, are eagerly waiting to get their hands on it and try out all that quad-core powered Android 4.2 goodness. One of the key elements, that a lot of folks attach importance to on a phone, is the camera quality. While there have been the odd sample pics that have been coming in, mostly showcasing the new Photosphere functionality, actual still images captured by the Nexus 4 have been few and far between, up until now.

XDA member yahyoh has managed to post a few pics captured by the Nexus 4 in his XDA thread. The photos mostly showcase the ability of the Nexus 4 camera in low-light conditions, along with a couple of indoor-lit as well as outdoor shots. Check these out for yourself. By the way, you can also try out the new Android 4.2 camera app, using our guide here – Only for the Galaxy Nexus though.

So how do you find the 8MP snapper on the Nexus 4. Low light pics seem pretty crisp, and colors are captured well. Of course, it is likely that all these have been clicked by a prototype, as the EXIF data shows that these pics were clicked more than a week ago. Nevertheless, the camera seems more than capable, and November 13th can’t come soon enough. You can visit yahyoh’s thread over at XDA to check out a few more pics taken by the Nexus 4.
