An Android Nextbit Edition showed up on Gfxbench today, and it is running Android 7.1.1 software. This definitely means that the company is officially testing the update. We can expect the update to be released soon.

The Nextbit Robin is the only smartphone from the manufacturer and was released in August 2015. The company was bought by Razer earlier this year, but Nextbit promised to provide software updates and support till 2018. So yes, the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update will be available soon for the Robin.

  1. even after selling their company to Razer they r still fulfilling the promises they hv made to their users, I heard that razer is planning to launch a smartphone as well along with Nextbit, wonder how it turn out but one thing for sure, judging by the razre’s history the phone wouldn’t lack at gaming!!
