The Sprint Galaxy Note Edge is receiving a new update starting today, which ups the software build to N915PVPU4DPE2, Android 6.0.1. Strangely enough, there is no changelog available yet from Sprint, but it shouldn’t take more than a few days for that to become publicly available.
Though, our guess is that PE2 build is Google’s monthly security update thing, and nothing major or cool per se. If you own this device, hit towards ‘About device’ section in Settings, and look for System update.
If you don’t receive the update as OTA, don’t worry, you can simply download the update from our firmware download page, linked below. Use guide linked thereat to help you install the firmware.
Do share a screenie with us of the update changelog if it’s become available to your Note Edge. And do you spot any visual changes with the PE2 update?
