New Google Maps Update feature: Single-hand zooming!

Google strives to continuously their Maps service as well as the Maps Android app. In the latest update, Google has added a cool feature of single-handed zoom, which is done by tapping once on the screen, then holding your finger to the screen in a consequent tap and sliding on the screen to zoom in and out.

Other than this the update only brings one new feature – access of your desktop and mobile search history through My Places, but the single-hand zooming is the main attraction here and will make life even easier when using Google Maps on an Android device.

Watch Kellex of Droid Life demoing the single-handed zoom feature in the video below, then go grab that update if you haven’t already done so.
