New Galaxy A8 photos reveal bezel-free display, thin profile and fingerprint scanner

For quite sometime, we have been witnessing a lot of leaks showing off the thin metallic profile of the Galaxy A8. The latest photos of the smartphone from a Chinese website reveal that the device is too thin measuring only 5.94 mm and that it features a near bezel-less display as well.

The Galaxy A8 photos also reveal the external components that are a part of the device including the micro USB port and 3.5 mm audio jack among the rest. Even the home button is shown and it is likely to extend its functionality beyond the navigation.

As per the ongoing reports, the Galaxy A8 will arrive with a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED full HD 1080p display and employ an octa core Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable native memory capacity.

The Galaxy A8 is likely to make use of a 16 MP main snapper at its back and a 5 MP front facer as well onboard. The rear snapper is said to feature an ISOCELL camera sensor, f/1.9 aperture and real time HDR. Also, the device is claimed to boast of a fingerprint scanner and equip a 3,050 mAh battery.

The mid-range Galaxy A8 is alleged to be priced in the range between $450 and $500 for the unlocked version. The international variant of the device with the model number SM-800F visited the FCC lately. It is believed to an impressive mid-range smartphone.
