Update (August 5, 2015): Download links have been removed, because the firmware was found to be not compatible with T-Mobile Note 4 (model no. SM-N910T), as it’s actually meant for SM-N910T3. The addition of 3 is perhaps the hardware revision, and even though it was hoped that software would have bearing on it, it turns out that that’s not really the case. → The N910T3UVU1DOFC firmware doesn’t installs on T-Mobile Note 4 with model no. SM-N910T. Hopefully, T-Mobile should be close to release Android 5.1 update as its counterpart Sprint has already released one for its Note 4 — also fixing Stagefright bug, no less!

The much-awaited Android 5.1.1 update is rolling out for T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 users, and while it’s not clear whether this also fixes the Stagefright bug that Sprint Note 4 5.1.1 update did, the Android version upgrade alone is a big reason why you would want it immediately.

Gladly for you, the firmware has already hit the download. We have got a direct download link below for you, that’s better than Mega and Google drive links, and works without any restrictions too. Feel free to share like of this T-Mobile Note 4 5.1.1 update.

But do note that if you want root access, then stay away from the 5.1.1 update for the moment. While the 5.1.1 root has been achieved on Galaxy S6 sets, T-mobile’s own included, it could take some time before T-Mobile Note 4 is rooted by enthusiastic developers.

The official changelog is not available as of yet, but we will be sure to update you once we come across it. We hope this fixes the critical vulnerability of Android OS, the Stagefright bug.
