MWC 2105: Sony announces Xperia Z4 tablet, the world’s thinnest tablet

As we have seen from the past few days, there were many speculations saying that Sony might launch the Xperia Z4 tablet at the MWC. Well, just as we stepped into the first day of the MWC, Sony showed off two brand new devices – the Xperia Z4 Tablet and the Xperia M4 Aqua smartphone. And the former has a 10-inch display with Quad HD resolution.

Sony’s slimmest ever tablet came with a 2K resolution and Sony claims this to be the world’s brightest display. Although we still have to see it on our own, a 2K display is something worth noting as this wasn’t in Sony’s previous model. The Xperia Z4 tablet is not only Sony’s thinnest tablet but also the world’s thinnest weighing 393g and it measures 6.1mm. It will be available it two variants – the Wi-Fi only model and the LTE model. The tablet is equipped with 3GB of RAM and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor. And of course, we all know that it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

It has 32GB of internal space and an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Well, a 5MP front camera is pretty good for video calls and selfies! Also, it is backed by a 6,000mAh battery. Although no price has been announced for this device, we are sure that it will be a huge hit!
