Motorola to launch Moto M special edition handset for Asian markets

Moto M special edition

It seems like Motorola’s first ever metal-bodied mid-range handset, the Moto M will be getting a special edition variant.

A new leak is doing rounds on the internet revealing the Moto M in a brand new packaging. What’s new, you ask? Well, this time around, you will get a couple of accessories with the Moto M.

Motorola will bundle a pair of JBL headphones alongside a Moto labeled case to carry your handset. The leak suggests that the special edition Moto M handset will only be made available in China considering the fact that it was a huge hit there.

Chances are, it could be launched as an Asia-specific model as well. We are not sure about it, though! So, as usual, take this piece with a pinch of salt.

To recall, the Motorola Moto M was launched back in late 2016 with mid-range specs. The handset features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, MediaTek Helio P10 SoC (Helio P15 in India), 3GB/4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of onboard storage, 16MP primary camera, 8MP secondary camera, and 3,050mAh battery. The smartphone ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
